In front of the lens ......Mullens.
Out of sheer excitement of getting to process these pictures, I'm burning the midnight oil. I'm once again having a hard time picking out my favorite shot from today's session, but this handful will have to do. I have gotten to hang out with my vagabond actor friend a lot of the past couple weeks while he has been back in the 304 for the holidays. Today though, was the first time I really got to bust out the camera and frame him up. I've known Chris since, well,we were 5ish and the stories start there.
The summer I moved to Montana, he moved to Portland, Oregon. I was reaching my photography dreams and he was doing the same with his acting. I had this zen moment when he stopped for a visit in Missoula as he was passing through on a tour. There we both were, getting to do everything we hoped to do, becoming who we didn't know we'd be when we were five.
Anyway with out further ado: Christopher.

Love the B&W pix... where in Missoula did you take these? Near the old depot?
Oh, I took these in good ol' WV. On Saturday in fact. We went to a old railroad town called Hinton. I'd been dying to shoot portraits in the area and he was lovely enough to let me kidnap him and drive him there.
A gentleman and his son ended up chatting with us during the course of the shoot and he shared a lot of History about the area that I had never heard before. It was a pretty excellent day.
