Opening day........

On Friday we officially opened our camp up for the season. It's a delightful spot on the river. I love the porch swing and I love the sound the water makes as it makes it's way over the rocks. I love the million and a half lightening bugs that have night parades in June . I love the way the trees have grown on the river bank, like they stand gaurd and protect us. What I love most is the people that pass through the screen doors. In the evening hours, when everything is said and done, we end up sitting out on one of the porches. Friday was no exception. I seemed to stay pretty close to eye level with people who seemed to be three feet tall and under. That's nothing unusual though.
