Cape Charles
There is a little town on the Chesapeake Bay called Cape Charles and it's lovely all together. A friend and I went to beach during college and on one of those rainy days we decided to drive around and Cape Charles was the outcome. We went back twice before our week was up and just to spend hours setting there by the bay. In my world of pretend, Cape Charles was built for me, but I'm willing to share it........maybe.
I didn't touch my camera this week during vacation(bad photographer) until we decided to head over to the cape and try to catch sunset. We missed sunset, but I got to shoot around a little during civil twilight, which has been my favorite time of day my whole life, but I didn't know it technically had a name until I went to Montana. We played for awhile with long exposures and played in the water until the old people( my mom will love being called that) got cold and hungry and we had to go warm them up and feed them.
I fully plan on making it back there soon and photographing the entire town(lets just say it's full of things that make me smile) and maybe catching the sunset the next time. Anyone up for a road trip? Eh?
